Rescue 5 Day Detox Review: Does It Really Work?

Last Updated:

Company-mandated drug tests have become the standard in most workplaces. Fortunately, passing a urine drug test isn’t as hard as it seems, especially if you have a few days to prepare.

If you have a drug test coming up and are looking for a way to get through it worry-free, then you should opt for a high-quality detox program. Today we’re going to be taking a look at a rather controversial detox product. We’re going to check out Rescue 5 Day Detox, and we’re going to see if it can help you pass your drug test!

What is a Detox?

Detoxification (or the “natural detox”) is the natural process that involves getting rid of any toxic substances that may be present in the human body. This process happens every day thanks to all the hard work that our excretory system does.

A ‘detox’ usually refers to following a specific protocol or program to speed up your body’s natural detoxification process. Detox diets and cleanses are very popular nowadays and promise to help get rid of toxic substances that build up over time.

Although detoxes are usually conducted for health reasons; they are extremely popular in the drug scene as an innovative method of cheating a drug test.

What Is Rescue 5 Day Detox?

Rescue 5 Day Detox is a 5 day detox program that promises to help your body flush out all toxins in a very convenient and affordable package. This is done by speeding up your body’s natural detoxification processes through the use of all-natural supplements and herbal ingredients. Basically, it aims to help your body cycle through toxins much faster.

How Does It Work?

rescue cleanse 5 day detoxWhile Rescue 5 day detox was not intentionally created to help people pass drug tests, it can still get the job done. The entire program was designed to help your body get rid of unwanted contaminants, which (fortunately) for us includes drug metabolites. This is done by employing the use of many herbal ingredients that help enhance and speed up the body’s natural detox and excretory functions.

The Rescue program itself is split into three main components: the Head Start formula, morning formula, and evening formula. These products are made up of herbal ingredients that are very popular in traditional Chinese medicine. Many of these ingredients are known for stimulating the kidneys and allowing them to function a lot more efficiently than usual. Here’s a look at the different ingredients that make up each product.

Head Start Formula

The Head Start formula is the first of the three detox pills you have to take for the detox. This specific pill should be taken before any of the others, and preferably, on the night before you start the actual detox. It is made up of the following ingredients: Alfalfa leaf, Uva Ursi leaf, Slippery Elm Bark, Reishi mushroom, Cayenne leaf, Sorbitol, and Creatine Monohydrate.

Morning Formula

The next of the three pills you have to take is the Morning formula and (as the name suggests) should be taken the morning of every day of the detox program. This pill is made up of the following ingredients: Schizandra Fruit, Turmeric Root, Burdock Root, Licorice Root, Dandelion Leaf, Cascara Sagdara Bark, Red Root, Milk Thistle Seed, Green Tea Leaf, Guarana Seed, and Echinacea Purpurea Leaf.

Evening Formula

The last of the three pills that comes bundled with the program is the Evening Formula and should be taken during the nighttime. This formula contains Schizandra Fruit, Turmeric Root, Burdock Root, Licorice Root, Dandelion Leaf, Peppermint Leaf, Red Root, Milk Thistle Seed, and Echinacea Purpurea Leaf.

How To Use Rescue Detox

The program itself is incredibly easy to follow and implement into any lifestyle. All it involves doing is taking some pills at the start and end of your day – easy enough right? Check out our breakdown of how to use the program down below.

Day Zero

Don’t forget this step! You’re going to need to take the Head Start formula pills the night immediately preceding the morning when you plan to start the program. Take these pills a few hours before going to sleep with 32 ounces of water, preferably 2 hours after eating dinner.

Morning Formula

Take 6 Morning formula pills first thing in the morning. Take these pills at least 1-2 hours before your first meal of the day with 32 ounces of water. Do this every morning for the five days of the detox program.

Evening Formula

Take 6 Evening formula pills every evening before bed with 32 ounces of water. Remember to take these pills at least 1-2 hours before or after eating. It is worth noting that these pills will make you pee, so it might be better to take them a few hours before going to bed. This allows you to get all your pill-induced peeing sessions out before hitting the hay. Do this every evening of the 5 day program!

After the 5 Days

Just like the Head Start formula, you’re going to take 4 pills of the “finisher” formula in the morning right after finishing the 5 day program.

The Day of the Test

The makers of  Rescue detox went all out, even providing you with some Rescue ICE detox pills to take during the test. These pills work like bottled detox liquid and are basically that last little kick you give your body to clean up as much as possible. You can also take these pills in between the morning and evening formulas if you think you have high levels of metabolites in your body.

Does It Actually Work?

So, the question on everyone’s mind: does Rescue 5 Day Detox actually work? The short answer is not really.

The truth is that this product does not have a very good track record. Many people have reported following the instructions to the dot, and still failing the urinalysis. While it isn’t really possible to verify every single one of these claims, the fact remains that too many people out there have had bad experiences with this product.

With so much on the line, a mixed response just does not cut it. Sure, it could work – but would you really give up your career to chance? This isn’t to say that detox programs are unreliable, on the contrary, some of them are actually very reliable and well-regarded by the drug community. It’s all about considering your options and choosing the right one.

At the end of the day, 5 day Rescue detox isn’t a very potent formula. Chronic users, for example, might need more than just a 5 day detox to completely rid their bodies of all the built-up traces of drug use.

My Experience

In preparation for this article, I purchased a package of Rescue 5 Day Detox for testing purposes. I wanted to be able to experience the entire 5 days to be able to give an in-depth assessment of the product. As a casual smoker, I also wanted to see if the product in question could really help me pass a home drug test kit. So just how well did the product work?

I started the program by taking the Head Start formula before going to bed. I followed this up the next day by taking the first batch of Morning Formula pills upon waking up in the morning. It was after a half hour or so when I first felt the urge to pee. This urge to pee happened frequently enough that I noticed it but not frequent enough that it was inconvenient,  about 2-3 times an hour.

More or less the same thing happened after taking the Evening Formula pills later that same day. This cycle continued throughout the five days of the program. I then took the finisher tablets on the 6th day following the start of the program and took a home drug test to see if it would still find traces of cannabis in my urine. Unfortunately, the test came back positive.

It is worth noting that I also stopped taking in any substances for five days while simultaneously maintaining a regular exercise program. This helped to ensure that my body was constantly expelling unwanted toxins. I also noticed that my body was slightly bloated during this week, but that could have been due to all the water I was drinking.

My Rescue 5 Day Detox Review

Aside from the failed home drug test, my experience with the product was mostly okay. I felt a slight increase in the frequency of my bathroom breaks, but it wasn’t exactly a huge leap. This leads me to believe that the program is not as in-depth as they initially claim and that the 5 day detox might actually not be enough considering the lack of potency.

This inconsistency and possibility of failure makes it very hard for me to recommend Rescue 5 Day Detox for those who are looking to pass a drug test.

Pros

  • Convenient and easy to use
  • Affordable

Cons

  • The program actually takes 7 days to complete
  • Does not come in any longer or shorter variants
  • Has a very mixed response from the community

Rescue 5 Day Full Body Detox FAQ

Why Do a Detox Over Alternative Methods?

If you have time to undertake a complete detox, it’s definitely the most reliable way to pass a urinalysis. A detox program allows you to submit a sample of your own pee – this is incredibly helpful on those rare occasions wherein somebody watches you produce your sample (this usually happens when you take a re-test due to handing in an invalid one).

Are There any Side Effects?

No major side effects have been reported by anybody while using Rescue 5 Day Full Body Detox. However, you gotta prepare yourself to pee a lot! Remember to continue drinking lots of water every day throughout the 5 days to ensure that you replace all of the liquids you are constantly expelling

Can I Continue Smoking While on the Program?

It is highly recommended that you do not take any controlled substances throughout the detox program since you’ll just be undoing your progress. How can your body completely clean itself if you keep on introducing new metabolites to it?

What Can I Do to Improve the Effects of the Program?

Going on a detox takes a lot of discipline to see through to the end. The pills themselves, while helpful, only aim to speed up what the body can naturally do by itself. For the best results, it is highly recommended that you eat a balanced diet and maintain an exercise regime alongside the detox formulas.

Conclusion

Company drug tests are an unavoidable part of the modern work environment. With your entire career on the line, you’re going to want to find a product that can easily and reliably help you pass. While the Rescue 5 Day Detox is a decent product, it is not the fool-proof product you are looking for. You want a product that offers you a sure-fire way to get rid of all drug metabolites. Personally, I recommend Toxin Rid 10 Day Detox.

Toxin Rid is a brand that offers a full-body detox in a 3-day, 5-day, and 10-day variant. This 10-day variant, in particular, is unbelievably effective. With a tighter pill-taking schedule, all-natural ingredients, and an extra bottle of detox drink for drug test– Toxin Rid ensures that you have all the tools you need to pass that urinalysis.
